I remember last year during the ftc camp, this ang moh was teaching some counselling course, in which one part i found very interesting. HUGS.
It is true that for our society, we tend to be a little reserved when giving out and receiving hugs. Especially between people of the same sex. girls are still ok... but between guys... hmm...
heh. but i found out that hugs are the best way to convey our love for one another. be it friendship, kinship or to your special someone. When you see someone hurt in the heart, i think the best gift is a hug. A hug is the shortest distance between friends!
I confess I am still not very comfortable just dishing out hugs to the people i love. Cos i dunno how they will react! Sad to say, i long to be just able to give my parents a hug as and when i feel like it, even to my brothers, but i just never had got the courage to do just that. I will do that someday!
