hohoho... went KL and played in the Handball Open. Guess what? Under Team Lion! haha. well... according to those who went to the Bangkok Open, this is a much much smaller scale. This competition is more of a state competition rather than an international one compared to that in Thailand. But nevertheless... haha check out what the jersey say. :P

first international silverware

heh! check out what we came back with! oh well... but have to say that the other teams were more like teenagers... haha. we bullied them into the finals. damn it. lost by 1 goal to kinta/kl club. well... i can only say that it was close. so near to a gold medal.

ok i look quite ugly in this picture... but haha. my teammate for 4 years! the only one other than huihu who was too busy to go to this trip. Oh well.. what are we trying to say with our fingers? haha... that is for us to know and for you dear readers to find out. ;)

Afterthoughts:

1. Refereeing is super important. The referees won't really trained. There were alot of controversial calls. It confused everyone.
   
2. We really need to buck up. wink and neighbour. alot of other hall players are getting the right exposure in playing for singapore. The game is evolving and we need all the experience we can get by simply playing more. Guys, if you all want to do well next year, seriously, start playing the game. It makes a helluva difference.
   
3. Sometimes when we see pple for RH or TH go down for trg with the federation, we laugh at some of them. They are simply too lousy. BUT they kept on coming and trying. And to be frank, I have all the respect for them. And the thing is... you can actually see them improving! and that's the scary part. I think one of the things our hall lack is the willingness to try and we need a bit of thick skin too. No pain no gain. even if it means idiots (like me) laughing at you. Com'on guys!

KR Open is coming up on 25th March. Hopefully that can kick start something... playing alone at bblk goalpost there is simply not enough. (although it is a good start) but.. playing the game with the rest of the field is of utmost importance.
