Johor Bahru is superb

went on a road trip with 2 friends. was supposed to pretend that it never happened as er.. there was some sneaking around... heh.. nevertheless here is a short account of it!

it was quite a smooth journey as we didn't really have to wait for transport. Smooth. but we went without a plan and ended up gg ard city square (which has nothing much as we dun really shop).

found secret recipe and had some dessert. the cakes there are damn cheap la!!! same price! different denomination.... superb. one whole cake cost only RM63 as compared to SGD50 over here!!!! superb.

we missed the ba kut teh though... supposedly sold out by 1230pm.

so in the end we decided to hit the streets. which sounded bad and... it really was bad.

so decided to use 电话资源 and called a couple of JB仔 in the form of shuqi and jieming... and er... vince who suggested raman gardens.

shuqi is the bomb la!!! haha. ok la jieming was in class and i lost my M1 connection so din get his sms reply until i got back to woodlands.

so she suggested taman sentosa, perling and this peking restoran. so we decided on perling! live seafood. thats the bomb. and she suggested twe get a chinese cabbie cos easier to ask ard as we gg to a chinese restoran.

BUT... that's the hard part.. heh heh... and the cabbies are quite ethical.. this old chinese cabbie refuse to take us and ask us to go to the front of the cab queue... superb. we ended up with a malay cabbie which was quite nice.

so.. he dropped us at Giant at perling cos he dunno where we gg. desperate, we went to the 五金店to ask for directions. and ended up at this place called Liang Chen Restoran.

Food was quite nice. The highlight was this salted egg butter fried crabs. superb. nice. i din bring camera (though my friend offered his camera phone). heh... this is what we ordered...

1. Pan Fried Bee Hoon (新洲style). abit burnt but quite nice. like 蚝煎 like that.
2. Steamed frog legs with chicken essense (1kg)
3. Drunken Prawns (Live)
4. Peppery salt fried Sotong
5. Butter fried Salted Eggs Crabs (1kg)
6. 1 bottle of Heineken
7. 2 cans of soft drinks

Total cost: RM 145

superb.

then i just found this place that i visited 5yrs back. Senibong Village Seafood which we wanted to go but i din remember the name of the place.

Google it and you will find out that this place is supposed to be famous and not too expensive. RM50 should give you a good meal. and 20% off between 2-5pm somemore... where to find? superb right.

Next trip perhaps. Muahahahhahaha
