Life Paints A Picture
By Robin Baugus
Everyone's life is a picture,
Painted by only one person,
Life itself.
The picture shows everything you're doing,
And everything you have done.
But sometimes, Life gets tired.
And doesn't want to paint a picture.
So, Life sends problems to stop you,
If you give up, your picture is finished.
If you keep going, so does your picture.
So the question is:
How soon do you want to see your picture?
Do you want to see it now?
When it could be so much more?
Or later,
when there's so much more than before?
It's your choice,
I'll keep going.

I had been feeling super bored for the past few days. i need a life man. got things planned out but havent realli got the time to get them going yet. sigh.
Ho. Back from Phuket. Been a while since i update this blog.
Had some time to think about what i want to do in the future. ha it doesn't help that EVERYONE on the ship that i am on wants to ORD. oh well.. i have slightly less than 3yrs to think about it.
In the meantime, i realised that one of my favourite past-time is...well... to eat! well... i do feel happy at lunchtime everyday. looking fwd to the cookhouse food. :) ha. and i am always on the lookout for new, nice and (hopefully) inexpensive places to eat. Have some places on the checklist liao.
1. Greenwood Avenue - some eateries opened up quite recently over there, but all restaurants. will check it out one of these days
2. Robertson Quay - Some new eateries. A chocolatier there sounds the bomb.
3. Pan Pacific Lounge - Got some watering holes there for a nice relaxed evening.
Love to eat but hate to spend. But well as we grow older the preference for food had switched from quantity (pizza hut buffets!) to quality(nice restaurants at $50 per head). Think the most expensive dinner bid and i had together was $160 (with a bottle of wine) at via mar and $120 (with premium sashimi) at yoyogi. heh.
any nice, exciting places that you (whoever is reading) have visited can recommend me? ha. but not nice i will knock ur head.
and hmmm... just the other day i was thinking how much i like to cook and i always wanted to start to learn to bake. Nothing beats having fresh bread everyday. ha. but do i love it enough (or rather good enuff) to open a shop? *second career choices always in my mind :P*
hmm writing helps organize my thoughts. mebbe i shd make it a conscientious effort to try to blog down my thoughts. I was thinking about some stuff a few days back but now i cant remember any.
I remember back in WNC days, i was prepared to give this reply if i was ever asked where is my journal (we were told to keep one). "Reflections does help. But i am too lazy to keep a journal. So typing online is just fine for me." :P
Just like this little girl,
i am trying to find myself in my reflections.
What do i really want?
How do i want my life to be like?
How do i want my picture done?
