anyway before i go for a 9 day free cruise to phuket under the cover the haze in malacca straits mebbe i shd just note an entry down.
went back for rag day today. ok la quite fun. we managed to steal chairs and got a better view of the proceedings and of coz got to kaobei at some of the pple for wearing slippers and not wearing blue. haha.
anyway yah we won. sorry no photos. i went to nus from camp as i was on duty the previous night. and we won in spectacular form. swept ALL awards less the Least Cost award and Best Float Design. Total of 7 shields we collected, including the much coveted Chancellor's Shield. (last won when i was in yr 1). and of coz including those gold awards for flag collection and best improvement and stuff like that.
Well done everyone!
but then again.. in retrospect i din see much emotions within the residents itself when the results were announced, less the final yrs and some blkheads.
Why ar? ok la. i admit although i was feeling happy for the hall, i wasn't realli feeling ra-ra inside. well i guess it becos i wasnt involved in the float itself and its not realli mine. so ha... but if u realli think abt it.. how come the current residents din realli feel it in them? as much as we had felt it when we were first yrs? EVERYBODY CRIED/TEARED. Seniors and freshies alike.
why?
1. we were wuss-es then
2. no rag rush? no sense of ownership for the float?
oh well.. times had changed la.
heard KS is thinking of leaving. he is the last pillar left. thats it after he leaves.

i agree... somehow.. there's a general lack of emotions... compared to when i was 1st yr ( u were final yr. WAHAHAHAH. ah pek ) although tt yr never win, but i felt more for rag overall. nonetheless... still a fantastic job
