Making a difference. To me that's what life's all about.

On individuals:

It is strange how we are make up of pple we have met, interacted with or simply just from hearing or looking at them. No doubt the pple who will influence us most are our parents when we are young. but as we grow and meet more pple, they shape us. Whether in the tiniest amount or to a greater extent.

Mebbe thats why i enjoy coaching.

Being able to do that is great. I remember once Hon said to me, "I see ourselves in pple like YZ, ron and wilson." I was like thinking... mebbe becos we shaped them in some way whether or not we know it or whether or not they know it. Ha. But i know the influence is not one way. I learnt from them too. kdm, vdr, yow, yz, willy, ron... the list goes on. er... be it good or bad. haha. so dun be too happy if u are mentioned here. :P

So just know that we do play a significant part in each other's life and acknowledge it. It makes the person's day.

On Career:

People keep asking me what will i do after my bond. I seriously do not know. Now with the scheme C and things and talks about identifying future leaders through that. Ha. I dun qualify for that scheme becos u will need at least 2nd upper honours to go for the interview board. although it is not the end of the road, but we know how life works. ha.

well... i was thinking. if i am not given the chance or rather the capacity to make a difference in the organization, would job security (coupled with a not too shabby pay) be a good enough reason for me to stay on? We talked about job satisfication during the CC talk. But how we define job satisfication is very different. Mine is making a difference for the organization. If i do not have the chance to do that would i just stay on and wait for the retirement gratuity (barring any major hiccups). Or just find somewhere where i can fulfill the meaning of my life.
